About "We've moved around the corner."
The “We’ve moved around the corner." exhibition is a collection of projects reflecting the shared experiences of the Calvin University graphic design “global structures” study away course to London from January 2026. This exhibition included work of 16 students in multiple mediums and explores the student experiences of mapping, transit design, time-based photo and video narratives, collections, journaling, material experimentation, and sophisticated brand and storytelling efforts.
The exhibition title “We’ve moved around the corner.” explains the maturation of the students who left Calvin University and returned with a new set of experiences, opinions, and perspectives of themselves as a group and their potential for collaboration. The name also references to one destination visits, which had in fact, “moved around the corner” to a new location. Thematically, exhibition branding intentionally references the London Underground, which was the daily conduit for the transportation, navigation, and exploration of the trip.
My responsibilities include logo design, visual identity, exterior signage design, vinyl installation, wayfinding signage design, and signage installation.
